Frequently Asked Questions:

Should I use fresh salmon?

When I am able to buy fresh salmon, I do not use it for salmon patties. I will cook the whole salmon and then use leftovers for salmon patties. If I do not have any salmon in the refrigerator, I will honestly pick up canned salmon. The canned works great for these patties.

What do I serve these patties with?

When I serve them as a meal, I will have a bowl of yogurt coleslaw and cauliflower rice. You could serve with a cool cucumber salad and maybe a side of potato salad.
