Shrimp Alfredo Fettuccine

Instructions:
Cook the Fettuccine:
Bring a large pot of salted water to a boil. Add the fettuccine and cook according to the package instructions until al dente.
Drain the pasta and set aside.
Prepare the Shrimp:
While the pasta is cooking, heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium heat.
Season the shrimp with garlic powder, salt, and pepper.
Cook the shrimp for 2-3 minutes on each side, or until pink and opaque. Remove from heat and set aside.
Make the Alfredo Sauce:
In the same skillet, melt the butter over medium heat.
Add the minced garlic and sauté for 1-2 minutes until fragrant.
Pour in the heavy cream and bring it to a simmer. Stir occasionally and cook for 3-5 minutes.
Lower the heat and add the Parmesan cheese, stirring until the sauce becomes creamy and smooth. Season with salt and pepper to taste.
Combine and Serve:
Add the cooked fettuccine pasta to the skillet with the Alfredo sauce and toss to coat the pasta.
Arrange the cooked shrimp on top of the pasta.
Garnish with chopped parsley and extra Parmesan, if desired.
